[CNMO Technology News] According to CNMO, South Korea has given up its first position to China in the market share ranking of small and medium-sized OLED displays for smartphones and tablets.

China’s smartphone OLED display market share reached 53.4% in the first quarter, occupying the top spot for the first time.
From a single company perspective, Samsung Display still tops the list with a market share of 43.8%, but this has dropped significantly from 51.6% in the same period in 2023.
According to Korean media analysis, this is largely due to the fact that Chinese smartphone manufacturers such as Huawei, Xiaomi, OPPO and vivo have launched a series of smartphones using Chinese-made OLED displays. Visionox's share nearly doubled from 7.4% in the first half of 2023 to 11.3% in the first half of 2024.
