Qualcomm performed solidly. In Q4 2023, smartphone shipments equipped with Qualcomm SoC increased by 1%, but revenue fell by 2%. Notably, Samsung contributes 40% of revenue from smartphones powered by Qualcomm SoCs.

Canalys research analysts said that Huawei became the biggest dark horse in Q4 last year, returning to the top five shipments in the Chinese market after 10 quarters. Media pointed out that thanks to the hot sales of the Mate 60 series, Huawei has set a smartphone shipment target of 100 million units in 2024, a figure that is 40% higher than previous agency forecasts.
