Users can now claim their DOGS tokens without incurring gas fees by simply connecting their Bitget account through the DOGS Telegram mini-app. The claimed tokens will be automatically credited to users’ Bitget exchange accounts on August 20th, 2024.

Inspired by Spotty, the mascot created by Telegram founder Pavel Durov, the DOGS token is a meme coin that pays homage to the Telegram community's unique culture. Spotty's charitable endeavors are also being honored by the token, with proceeds from its sales being donated to orphanages and children's homes.

The tokenomics of the DOGS token were unveiled on August 15, 2024, revealing a total token supply of 550 billion. The majority of the allocation, 81.5%, is dedicated to the community. This includes 73% for Telegram Original Gangsters, 10% for the development team, and 8.5% for liquidity and listing activities.

With an estimated 42.2 million users eligible for the airdrop, each claim is expected to receive an average of 9,500 DOGS, highlighting the strong community engagement.
