With the new Ryzen 9000 series Zen 5 desktop CPUs finally out and about, their X3D counterparts are slated to make an appearance sometime in October alongside new high-end X870 motherboards. This time, the top-spec Ryzen 9 9950X3D SKUs could come with extra 3D V-cache. Meanwhile, those who can't wait that long and are fine with a Zen 4 CPU will soon have a new offering: the Ryzen 5 7600X3D.
AnhPhuH, a leaker on X, says the Ryzen 5 7600X3D will land sometime in "early September". AMD is no stranger to dropping random last-gen CPUs in the middle of a launch cycle, as confirmed by the Ryzen 7 5700X3D dropping in the middle of the Zen 4 era. Plus, AMD has a Ryzen 5 5500X3D lined up for future launch, too.
There's no word about the Ryzen 5 7600X3D's specs at this point, but one can reasonably assume it will be a Ryzen 5 7600X (curr. $194 on Amazon) with a 3D V-cache tile slapped on top. However, it runs the very real risk of undercutting its the $279 Ryzen 5 9600X in gaming if it is priced around $250-300.
The above is the detailed content of AMD Ryzen 5 7600X3D rumoured to launch in early September. For more information, please follow other related articles on the PHP Chinese website!
