Roborock P20 Pro new powerful robot vacuum launching soon

Roborock is about to launch the P20 Pro robot vacuum cleaner in China. The new model will be available in two variants: one with a water tank and another that can connect to your home's water supply.

Details shared by Roborock on Weibo indicate that the P20 Pro will have advanced climbing powers, effortlessly overcoming obstacles up to 4 cm (~1.6 inches) tall, including thresholds, deep pile carpets and rugs, and even low-lying furniture parts, like a chair frame. The brushes are also said to be improved compared to older models. A roller brush split in two halves at the base of the device and a rotating brush to the side are said to avoid tangling hair as it is collected, a common problem with other robot vacuums. On top of this, the P20 Pro is said to offer 18,500 Pa suction. If this is correct, it would be incredibly powerful next to other models, such as the Qrevo S, which offers just 7,000 Pa suction. Other features of the smart home products include voice commands, LDS navigation and dual arms to ensure the robot sweeps and mops right into the corners of each room.

The pricing of the new Roborock P20 Pro robot vacuum, with and without a water tank, has yet to be announced. Full details of the latest models will be revealed when they are available to order from August 26th. Whether or when these products could reach markets like North America and Europe remains to be seen.
