is the sole inheritor of the legacy of his millionaire great-uncle, and his goal is to find the ``46th room'' in the huge Sinclair mansion on Mount Holly, which he has never been to. It's a puzzle adventure game. In the first room after entering the mansion, there is a Blueprint (Blueprint), and beyond the doors on three sides there are multiple rooms such as a bedroom, storage room, kitchen, hallway, library, and dark room. Three types are displayed at random. From there, write down on the blueprint what room is in front of the door. In this way, draw one room in each 9x6 square on the blueprint, and by reaching the 45th chamber from the 1st entry hole, the secret in the 46th room designated by your great-uncle will be revealed. .

According to developer Tonda Ros, the people who have played the demo so far have received letters, such as those who prioritize reaching the 46th room, and those who want to read the background of the story. It is said that there are three types of people: those who are looking for a new floor plan, and those who are trying to create a floor plan that suits them. He said that he wanted to create a game that could accommodate any of these.
However, the difficult part is that one playthrough is basically limited to "50 steps". Each time you enter a room, one step is counted, so if you go back and forth to each room many times, the number of steps will decrease. These steps can also be obtained in the same way as keys and coins, but if you run out of steps, it will be game over and the day will end. The next day, the previous day's floor plan will be gone and you will have to start over from scratch.

According to Ross, the development of ``Blue Prince'' is nearing its final stages, and they are spending time finishing the puzzles in the latter half of the game, while also tuning up the graphics. ``Don't forget that there is an outdoor part of the mansion,'' said Mr. Ross, noting that at GDC 2024 (related article) it was possible to explore the garden area, and that this time, there was a fountain in front of the mansion where coins could be placed. He was emphasizing that he was able to do something meaningful, such as throwing a ball.
