Sharge has launched a range of carbon fiber power banks, which the company claims are the first of their kind. The CarbonMag (5K) and CarbonMag (10K), teased earlier this month, are designed as accessories for the upcoming iPhone 16. However, they are also compatible with models from the iPhone 13 Series onwards and Android phones that support Qi2.
The CarbonMag power banks are Qi2 certified, with a 15W wireless charging output. Sharge says this would allow you to charge an iPhone 15 to 50% in around 45 minutes. 16 N52 magnets help to secure the accessory to the back of your phone, and the 10,000mAh battery allows you to charge an iPhone 15 1.7 times; an estimate is not provided for the 5,000mAh version. You can simultaneously charge a second device via the 20W USB-C port, which is also used to recharge the power banks.
The recycled carbon fiber provides a smooth, durable finish and helps to keep the power banks lightweight; the 5K model weighs 120g (~0.26 lbs), while the 10K model weighs 180 g (~0.4 lbs). You can now buy the Sharge CarbonMag (5K) and CarbonMag (10K) for $59.90/£45.33/€59.90 and $79.90/£60.47/€79.90. Plus, the company is offering 25% off when you use the discount code CARBONMAG5K. While the accessories are listed at Amazon, they are out of stock here. Also on the way is the Sharge CarbonBlade portable power bank.
