The Amazfit T-Rex 3 smartwatch appears to have leaked at Shopee in Singapore. The new wearable seems to have various upgrades compared to predecessors like the T-Rex 2 and the T-Rex Ultra. These include a new octagonal stainless steel bezel and a refreshed strap.
The T-Rex 3 also has a larger 1.5-inch AMOLED display with a 480 x 480 px resolution and 326 PPI pixel density. The new screen is said to be twice as bright as that used on the older models, offering up to 2,000 nits brightness. To support this is a larger 700mAh battery, compared to the 500mAh power pack in the older watches. This allows the T-Rex 3 to run for up to 21 days with typical use, one more than the estimate for the T-Rex Ultra but three fewer than the T-Rex 2.
Other features listed at Shopee include 170 sports modes to log exercise, tracking for health metrics like heart rate and SpO2 level, GPS tracking and Bluetooth notifications. Newer tools include Zepp Flow AI voice assistant and Night Display, allowing you to change the screen color to red, green or orange to preserve night vision. One missing feature versus the T-Rex Ultra seems to be diving abilities. The Shopee listing suggests that the Amazfit T-Rex 3 smartwatch will retail for S$359 (~$275). It remains unclear when the wearable will officially launch.
