Govee launches new smart Net Lights with Matter support

The Govee Net Lights are now available worldwide. The smart lights are designed for outdoor use with an IP65 waterproof rating and operate at temperatures between -20°C (~-4°F) and 60°C (~140°F). The lights could be attached to a fence or bush, and customers are offered two sizes: 2.8ft x 4.7ft (~0.85m x 1.4m) and 2.8ft x 9.4ft (~0.85m x 2.9m).

The Net Lights feature RGBIC LEDs, 240 for the smaller version and 480 for the larger size, expected to last for 25,000 hours. Features include Scene modes tailored to seasons and holidays, and DIY mode allows you to upload and display pixelated pictures or GIFs. You can remotely control the smart lights via the Govee app, Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant voice commands. Plus, the product is Matter-compatible, enabling it to integrate with many smart home platforms.

You can buy the 2.8ft x 4.7ft (~0.85m x 1.4m) and 2.8ft x 9.4ft (~0.85m x 2.9m) versions of the Govee Net Lights in the US at the discounted prices of $69.99 and $119.99, respectively; the products are expected to retail for $89.99 and $149.99. The larger version is available in the UK for £99.99 thanks to a coupon taking £50 off the £149.99 RRP. It is unclear whether or when the smaller version could go on sale in this country or how long each of these three deals will last. Customers in the EU can purchase either variant for €89.99 or €149.99.
