Roborock has announced that the Zeo Lite, a new smart washer dryer, is coming to Europe. The model arrives in the region after the Zeo One launched late in 2023. However, the latest version uses UVC sterilization and has a rotary switch and LED touch display, rather than a color touch screen.
As with the Zeo One, the Zeo Lite uses Zeo-cycle to dry delicate clothes gently, which Roborock suggests is industry-leading. The washer dryer uses AI to determine the best drying temperature, keeping it as low as possible. When washing, the machine can handle up to 10kg (~22.0 lbs) loads or dry up to 6kg (~13.2 lbs) loads. Roborock indicates that an entire cycle, including drying, can be completed in as little as one hour. Users can choose from 27 cycles, with detergent dispensed automatically based on the weight of the washing.
You can remotely control the device via the Roborock app or use the controls on the front of the machine. The Roborock Zeo Lite smart washer dryer is on show at IFA 2024 and will retail for €999 in the region. This makes it cheaper than the Zeo One, which is priced at€1,299. It remains to be seen whether or when the model could reach other markets like the US.
