Garmin has only recently released the Enduro 3, Fenix E and Fenix 8, having done so at the tail end of last month. Nonetheless, the company has already issued new software updates for all its new smartwatches. Please note that while the first update for the pair arrives on Garmin's stable software channel, the trio will soon be eligible for beta builds like the Fenix 7 (curr. $599.99 on Amazon), which received Beta Version 18.13 earlier this week.
According to Garmin, the Enduro 3, Fenix E and Fenix 8 are all eligible for System Software 11.60. In saying that, it is unclear with what software version either smartwatch will ship and whether System Software 11.60 will become the new standard for future orders. At any rate, there are multiple reports on Garmin's forums of its new smartwatches arriving with numerous software bugs that persist after hard resets.
With that in mind, Garmin's official changelogs are incredibly sparse. Specifically, System Software 11.60 is said to make one change across the Enduro 3, Fenix E and Fenix 8, which Garmin describes as a bug fix for a translation issue. Unfortunately, Garmin has not provided any other details in this regard, nor when a more substantial update is coming. Please see our Enduro 3, Fenix E and Fenix 8 launch articles for details on the changes that Garmin has made from the Enduro 2 and Fenix 7 series.
