Lenovo refreshes Legion Go with new colourful customisation options
Lenovo has been spotted pulling the Legion Go (curr. $589 on Amazon) from many of its European stores. Incidentally, the company recently introduced various accessories for its first gaming handheld, full details of which we have covered separately. As it turns out, it has also finally released a set of official skins for the device, six months after details about them leaked online.
As far as we can tell, Lenovo is offering these skins globally with relevant listings shown across its UK, US and German websites, among others. By our count, the company has created five skins, which it has called the following names:
- Circuit
- Legion Hero
- Lunar Grey
- Universe
- White
According to Lenovo, it skins 'perfectly' fit theLegion Gowhile only adding 0.2 mm in thickness to a device that is 41 mm thick. Added to that, each skin is said to weigh 89 g and is made from an undisclosed 'premium material'. Moreover, Lenovo states that it includes a 'complete set of tools to help users install' their designed skin, again without providing specifics in this regard. For reference, Lenovo currently charges £40 for each skin in the UK and €49 in the Eurozone, but only $20.15 in the US, thanks to a 32% discount from a $29.99 MSRP.
