Xiaomi has now released its first Mini LED gaming monitor globally, over four months after it was spotted lurking on its global website. Specifically, the monitor started life as the Redmi Display G Pro 27, which debuted in China at the turn of the year.
To recap, Xiaomi equips the Mini LED Gaming Monitor G Pro 27i with a 27-inch IPS panel that outputs natively at 2,560 x 1,440 pixels in a 16:9 aspect ratio with a 180 Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the monitor boasts 1 ms (GtG) response times and AMD FreeSync support to mitigate image tearing. Moreover, Xiaomi has included 1,152 Mini LED local dimming zones that help deliver 1,000 nits peak HDR brightness and VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification.
