xMEMS announced solid-state drivers for wireless earbuds last year, and this year, many brands have taken full advantage of this technology. Creative Aurvana Aceseries was the first to feature the tech, and now Soundpeats has joined with the Capsule3 Pro+.
These new wireless earbuds feature the Cowell micro driver, which, unlike the dynamic drivers, has no moving parts. This offers multiple advantages, including better durability, reduced distortions, and higher audio fidelity. Soundpeats has also integrated LDAC codecsupport to deliver a max sampling rate of 96 kHz and 24-bit of depth.
Of course, to be able to enjoy audio at such a high fidelity, you would need to pair the Soundpeats Capsule3 Pro+ with a compatible device. Worth noting that these new wireless earbuds use the xMEMS Cowell solid-state driver as the tweeter, responsible for the high-frequency response.
For mid-bass production, the Capsule3 Pro+ have a 12 mm dynamic driver. Soundpeats says that this dual-driver setup can ensure well-balanced sound. The new Bluetooth earbuds also focus on comfort, which Soundpeats says is mainly achieved for xMEMS' compact hardware.
Besides that, the Capsule3 Pro+ have adaptive noise cancellation. Soundpeats claim that the ANC tech can lower up to 45 dB of noise. The battery performance also appears great, with the buds promising up to 6.5 hours of runtime and up to 43 hours of total playtime with the charging case.
Pricing-wise, the Soundpeats Capsule3 Pro+ are on the affordable side, with the current promo pricing being $89.99. The competitor Creative Aurvana Ace 2, in comparison, retails for $149.99 (curr. $119.99on Amazon).
