Vivo T3 Ultra launches with a super bright display, Dimensity 9200 chipset, and fast charging

The Vivo T3 Ultra is the latest model in the Vivo T3 line of smartphones, and from the name it can be deduced that it is the top model. Announced in India, its specs put it in the premium mid-range category, and it has a competitive price tag to match.

Like the Vivo T3 Pro, the T3 Ultra has a curved display. It is a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 2800 x 1260 resolution, and a peak brightness of 4500 nits. The screen has a centered punch hole for a 50MP sensor.

Powering the Vivo T3 Ultra is a MediaTek Dimensity 9200 processor, and it is paired with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB of 256GB of storage. Sadly, there is no mention of a microSD card slot, so the storage can't be expanded.

Rather than packing the Vivo T3 Ultra chock-full of cameras, Vivo has settled for just two sensors - a 50MP Sony IMX921 primary camera with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide angle camera. Both the primary rear camera and the front-facing camera can record in 4K at 60 FPS. There are also AI features such as object eraser and photo enhancements for both new and old photos.

The Vivo T3 Ultra packs a 5,500mAh battery capacity and charges super fast with the bundled 80W charger. The phone also has an IP68 dust and water resistance rating, an in-display fingerprint scanner, dual SIM support (nano), dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz), and Bluetooth 5.3. It ships with Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14.

The Vivo T3 Ultra is available in Frost Green and Lunar Grey. It is priced at ₹31,999 (~$381/€346) for the base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage,₹33,999 (~$405/€367) for the 8 256GB version, and₹35,999 (~$429/€389) for the 12GB 256GB variant. The phone will be available to buy starting on September 16 and there are launch offers to bring the price down even lower.
