Hands-on video allegedly reveals design of Xiaomi 14T series ahead of official announcement
The Xiaomi 13T lineup was officially unveiled a year ago, and the company hasn't revealed anything about the successor yet. However, the Xiaomi 14T series is expected to be unveiled soon, and a leak from last monthhas already shared the possible core specs of the two new smartphones.
As the leak from last month suggested, the Xiaomi 14T Pro could have the same specs as the Redmi K70 Ultralaunched in July of this year. Now, ahead of the announcement, a hands-on video claiming to show off the two new smartphones has emerged on social media TikTok (currently taken down).
This video shows that the two phones in the Xiaomi 14T series will have a back design similar to the Redmi K70 Ultra. There is a square-ish camera bump housing three cameras on the rear. Another key thing to note from the video is that both smartphones appear to have a similar size.
That wouldn't be anything unusual, as the 13T(available on Amazon)and 13T Pro have the same display size as well. However, there are some spec differences that set the two apart, and the same is expected for the upcoming 14T and 14T Pro.
The leak from last month hinted that the Pro variant will get Dimensity 9300 , the same as the Redmi K70 Ultra, while the standard will reportedly feature Dimensity 8300-Ultra. It has also suggested that there will be differences in terms of the camera setup.
Getting back to the video, it also showcased the alleged Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro in two colors. While it's unclear which phone one is which, the two colorways shown are likely the rumored Titanium Black and Titanium Grey. Worth noting that the "Titanium" in the name of the colorways doesn't mean that the upcoming phones will feature a titanium frame.
The video doesn't show anything else, but as mentioned earlier, Xiaomi should be announcing the new 14T lineup soon. So, you wouldn't need to wait long to learn all about the new phones.
