Xiaomi unveils new 50W Wireless Car Charger Kit
The Xiaomi 50W Wireless Car Charger Kit has been launched in China. Your phone sits in a cradle, with electric clamp arms automatically opening and closing to hold it in place. Plus, you can still open the arms when the device is powered off.
As its name suggests, the Xiaomi Wireless Charger provides an up to 50W output via a wireless charging pad. The power dynamically adjusts based on the connected device, and the accessory is said to be compatible with the Xiaomi Ultra series and other smartphones with wireless charging capabilities. There are two inputs to power the charger, USB-C and DC power jack, and you can mount the accessory in three ways: with a universal hook, a fixed clip, or the adhesive base. You can adjust the angle of your phone as needed, an LED indicates charging status and air ducts help to dissipate heat.
You can buy the Xiaomi 50W Wireless Car Charger Kit in China for 299 CNY (~$42). Customers can choose between silver and black versions, and the accessory measures 116 x 72.5 x 58 mm (~4.6 x 2.9 x 2.3 inches). It is unclear whether Xiaomi intends to bring this product to other markets.
