Aptos Foundation Partners with Ignition AI Accelerator to Drive AI Growth in APAC
Aptos Foundation has announced a partnership with Ignition AI Accelerator, an Nvidia-backed initiative aimed at accelerating the growth of artificial intelligence-focused startups in Asia.
Aptos Foundation has partnered with Ignition AI Accelerator, an initiative backed by Nvidia, to support artificial intelligence startups in Asia.
The collaboration will see Aptos Foundation join forces with AI Ignition Accelerator, an initiative supported by NVIDIA, Tribe, and Digital Industry Singapore, to drive the next phase of AI growth in the Asia Pacific region.
Aptos (APT) blockchain technology and funding will be made available to startups accepted into the accelerator program, as part of the partnership announced on Friday.
According to the companies, Aptos Foundation will also leverage Microsoft’s OpenAI Service to streamline adoption.
The partnership goes beyond fueling AI growth in the region, according to Ng Yi Ming, director at Ignition AI Accelerator. It will also drive synergies globally, combining resources and expertise to empower entrepreneurs and teams across the ecosystem, he added.
The Aptos ecosystem spans a wide range of projects, including decentralized finance, gaming, tooling, stablecoins, and marketplaces. Non-fungible token tooling, decentralized physical infrastructure networks, bridges, and AI are among the other projects.
In June 2024, entertainment conglomerate NBCUniversal announced a multi-year collaboration with Aptos, selecting the blockchain network for its gaming and fan experience initiatives. The move came after an initial partnership in September 2023.
Event ticketing platform KYD Labs partnered with Le Poisson Rouge in July 2024 to bring the historic venue’s shows and tickets on-chain via Aptos. The blockchain platform also recently teamed up with streaming platform myco to bring web3 entertainment to the mainstream.
Ignition AI Accelerator, which was founded in Singapore in May 2024, is supported by government accelerator program Tribe and AI chip maker NVIDIA.
