The Casio limited edition Master of G Emergency Colors Series watches are now available in the US. The range includes the Gravitymaster GR-B300EC-1a, the Mudman GW-9500MEC-1 and the Mudmaster GWG-B1000EC-1A, all of which launched in the EU in August.
The watches have red, orange and yellow accents on the dials, which Casio describes as “emergency colors”, often used on the uniforms of rescue service personnel. Aside from the limited edition color scheme, the watches are identical to the original models. The GR-B300EC can display the time in two cities simultaneously and uses Bluetooth to connect to the smartphone app, where you can access flight log and phone finder tools. The GW-9500MEC is a Multiband 6 radio-controlled watch with a digital display that is said to be dust-, mud- and shock-resistant.
The GWG-B1000EC is also radio-controlled, but it adds Bluetooth connectivity for app-based tools like phone finder, mission log and location indicator. All three watches are solar-powered, offering five to six months of runtime with a rechargeable battery. The Casio Gravitymaster GR-B300EC-1a retails for $300/€299, the Mudman GW-9500MEC-1 is priced at $400/€399 and the Mudmaster GWG-B1000EC-1A costs $800/€799.
