Fitbit has updated its app to version 4.26.1. This has introduced changes for some users of the brand's smartwatches and fitness trackers like the Charge 5. While the change logs of the iOS and Android versions reveal few details, several users have reported alterations to the Stress Management section of the app.

The Stress Management section has been split into two new pages. The first is named Body responses & moods, with Day and Week tabs, showing metrics such as the number of minutes logged with a stress response and the time of stress responses. The second page, Stress management score, also has Day and Week views, showing your daily or average score and contributing factors such as activity and sleep. The Mindfulness page gets new tabs, this time for the Week, Month and Year. On top of this, users have described new insights which, for example, show the impact of your time spent meditating on your heart rate.

At the time of writing, only Android users have reported seeing the new pages. Users have also noted that, while they have received these new wellness-related pages, they still cannot see the recently refreshed Heart page or the new and supposedly improved Readiness Score. You can now download version 4.26.1 of the Fitbit app from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
