Users are reporting a global update for the Xiaomi Mi Fitness app. This mirrors a similar refresh which landed for users in China a couple of months ago. There are changes to all four sections in the app: Health, Workout, Device and Profile.
The Health page has the same goal rainbow at the top, with an updated design. A new small icon next to this equates your calorie burn to treats such as biscuits and ice cream. Plus, the core metrics, like heart rate and sleep duration, are more prominent in the sections below. The Workout page has been simplified, with named tabs rather than icons for various activities. Under Device and Profile, settings seem to have been streamlined. On top of this, users indicate that you can now pair the Body Composition Scale S400. You can view screenshots illustrating the differences between the two versions of the Mi Fitness app below.
Unfortunately, it remains unclear whether the update also resolves outstanding bugs. The refreshed design appears to have arrived for some customers after they installed iOS app version 3.28.0 or Android app version 3.33.4i. It has been reported by users of the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 and other wearables. When the global rollout of the new look Mi Fitness app will be complete remains to be seen.
