However, the display is reportedly 25% brighter, has better contrast, and will also have a new system-wide dark mode.

The Kindle will also have smoother page turns but no physical page turn buttons. Other features revealed are 16GB of storage, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi, and USB-C. It will also last up to 8 weeks on a single charge.Sadly, there's no mention of it having support for warm light or being waterproof.

In addition to the specs and features, the listing also includes a photo of the upcoming Kindle in Match Green, one of the two colors it will launch in. The other is Black. From the image, the 12th-gen Kindle doesn't look different from the 11th-gen Kindle. It still has a recessed screen, a pretty thick chin, and a curved back. It measures 10.85 x 15.78 x 0.8 cm and weighs 154 grams. Its dimensions are almost identical to that of the 11th gen but it is a few grams lighter.
