Anker launches new Flow soft touch cable for Apple products
The Anker Flow USB-A to Lightning Cable (3 ft, Silicone) has arrived at Amazon in the US. The accessory was rumored earlier this year and launched shortly after USB-A to USB-C and USB-C to Lightning Upcycled Braided cables from the brand.
Anker states that this 3ft (0.9m) Flow cable has a 480 Mbps data transfer rate, though it does not provide the maximum charging power. However, the product listing indicates that the cable allows a full charging speed for devices like the iPhone 8 and AirPods Pro, but is limited for others like the iPhone 14Series phones and iPad Pro 10.5. Based on this, it is likely to deliver 12W charging. The MFi-certified cable Is said to have a soft finish that resists tangles and can withstand over 25,000 bends or 220 lbs (~100 kg) force. The accessory comes with a silicone cable organizer and an 18-month warranty.
You can buy the Anker Flow USB-A to Lightning Cable (3 ft, Silicone) at Amazon US for $18.99. The product is currently only available with a black finish and in this one length. It is unclear whether or when the model could launch in other countries such as the UK, Canada, Australia or the Netherlands, where Anker Flow USB-C to USB-C and USB-C to Lighting cables are already on sale.
