M4-powered Apple MacBook Pro is allegedly already available to purchase

While Apple is yet to announce new MacBooks with the M4 line of SoCs, a recent leak from ShrimpApplePro suggests that the M4-powered laptops are already out in the wild. Now, the same tipster has shared more photos of the same 14-inch MacBook Pro with Apple M4.

ShrimpApplePro says that the new MacBook Pro is already available for purchase but through an unnamed private Facebook group. Among the new images shared on the X post, there's one that shows the front of the alleged M4-powered laptop. Per that specific image, it seems that Apple hasn't changed the design.

The picture shows a design that's identical to the Space Gray 2023 MacBook Pro (base config curr. $1,299 on Amazon). Like the last leak from ShrimpApplePro, this retail box also indicates that the base 512 GB configuration will be available with 16 GB of memory. This would be a big upgrade from the predecessor, as its base option was only available with 8 GB of unified memory.

No further details were shared on ShrimpApplePro's latest post. The tipster hasn't even mentioned the name of the Facebook group where this MacBook Pro with Apple M4is allegedly available to purchase, and the price at which the laptop is being sold is also kept under wraps.

As for the timeline of these leaks, they are on point, as previous reports from Augusthave hinted that the MacBook Pros powered by the Apple M4 series SoCs have entered mass production. The Cupertino giant is rumored to hold a launch event later this month, which is expected to introduce the new laptops along with new iPads.
