Razer Basilisk V3 Pro 35K and V3 35K debut as new up to 35,000 DPI mice with smart RGB clickwheel

Razerhas equipped its latestBasilisk-series mouse with its latest Focus Pro 35K Gen-2, touted to blow competingoptical sensorsaway with its max acceleration of 70g as well as its eponymousDPIupgrade.

It is paired to the OEM'slatest Hyperscroll Tiltwheel, touted to switch between smooth and more tactile, stepped scrolling modes on the fly - automatically if necessary, even, with its new Smart-Reel Mode. It is also augmented with Virtual Acceleration to make content fly by with increasing scrolling intensity.

Accordingly, Razer asserts that its latest mouse is as good for productivity as it is for gaming. To that end, it can also store per-app profiles for its 10 customizable buttons, meaning that the button used for smoke grenades in CS:GO should seamlessly save files in Excel.

The Tiltwheel has its own separate RGB in the latest Razer mouse, as part of its 11-Zone Chroma Lighting ("with full underglow") system. Then again, it is a right-handed model only and has a non-removablemulti-function trigger button.

These features are found in the Basilisk V3 35K, which comes with an apparently ultra-low-resistance Speedflex Cable for $79.99 via Razer or Amazon. Alternatively, its wireless form - the new 35K refresh of the V3 Pro - is available for $159.99.

Both mice are rated to use Razer HyperSpeed Wireless (for up to 140 hours per charge) and to achieve a polling rate of up to 8,000Hz, although they both need aRazerMouse Dock Pro (an extra $69.99 on Amazon) to unlock the latter, while the V3 3K needs an optional HyperPolling Wireless Dongle for the former.
