Ethereum, EVM, and Ethereum Layer 2s all share one thing. Solidity. That’s the programming language that makes all of them compatible.
Movement Labs, a project bringing the Move language to EVMs, recently announced several updates, including a GMove challenge, liquid staking, and a partnership with The Guild.
The GMove challenge invites participants to showcase their best moves for a chance to win prizes. As part of the promotion, non-profit organizations will receive $10,000 in charitable donations from the Movement team.
Movement Labs has also partnered with Thunderhead Labs to offer staked $MOVE, which can be used across Movement’s DeFi ecosystem. A testnet faucet is available for users to try out the liquid staking option.
Additionally, The Guild, a platform aiming to enhance the gig economy and social networking in Web3, has announced a partnership with Movement Labs.
The collaboration will provide a mix of Fiverr-style marketplace and LinkedIn-style relevant content, enabling knowledge workers to highlight their skills in the marketplace.
The partnership aims to leverage Movement Labs’ MoveVM, an L2 solution with low fees and fast transaction times, to support The Guild’s large-scale adoption.
