Decentraland (MANA) Clocks More Notable Development Activity Than Any Other NFT Project in the Past Month: Santiment

Non-fungible token (NFT) activity has been heating up in recent months, with several projects seeing a significant increase in development activity.

According to crypto analytics firm Santiment, Decentraland (MANA) saw the most notable development activity among NFT projects.

Over the past 30 days, Decentraland clocked 168.17 notable GitHub events, far outpacing other NFT projects.

Flow (FLOW), a layer-1 permissionless blockchain, ranked second with 119.57 events.

Meanwhile, Metaplex (MPLX), a decentralized NFT platform built on Solana (SOL), placed in a distant third with 19.13 events.

Santiment notes that it does not count routine updates and utilizes a “better methodology” to collect data for GitHub events based on a “backtested process.”

According to Santiment, heavy development activity centered around a crypto project indicates that developers still believe in the protocol.

This activity also suggests that the project is less likely to be an exit scam.

At the time of writing, MANA is trading at $0.294, up nearly 7% in the past 24 hours.

Flow is currently trading at $0.539, up more than 5% in the past day.

MPX is trading at $0.416, down nearly 0.5% in the past 24 hours.
