Aptos Foundation rolls out new AI tools

On X (formerly Twitter), Aptos Foundation and FLock io unveiled their collaboration to create AI tools for Move, a language used on the Aptos blockchain. Move, initially created by Meta for the Diem project, is renowned for simplifying the handling of blockchain operations. However, being a relatively new language, its adoption has been hindered by low usage.

To address this challenge, FLock io has developed a large language model for Move, designed to help developers code better and faster. Early tests show that this model outperforms other AI tools like ChatGPT-4 in generating efficient and readable Move programming code. According to Bashar Lazaar, Head of Grants and Ecosystem at Aptos Foundation,

“Move adoption can be quite technical without the right tooling.”

With these new AI technologies, developers aim to enhance the process of writing and reviewing smart contract code on Aptos. Jiahao Sun, CEO of FLock io, highlighted that their tools are tailored to aid developers in handling blockchain tasks and improving security measures.
