The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) Arca is preparing to integrate Bitcoin ETF products into its platform. According to an announcement by Intercontinental Exchange, the parent company of NYSE Arca, the exchange is set to offer 22 hours of total trading time.

The move comes amidst increasing demand for extended stock and equities trading hours to provide greater flexibility for Wall Street investors.

The landscape of the stock market is shifting in unprecedented ways across the board. While the proposal for extended trading by NYSE Arca still awaits regulatory approval, it has the potential to reshape the investment landscape in the United States.

As reported by CNBC, under the new plan, the extended trading hours will begin at 1:30 am and conclude at 11:30 pm. This marks a significant deviation from the current trading hours of 4 a.m to 8 p.m. However, despite the proposed changes, the trading days will still span five days, excluding weekends.

These changes, if approved, could play a pivotal role in the Bitcoin ETF market. Among the prominent BTC ETF issuers, Grayscale and Bitwise both trade on Arca. Notably, the platform is dedicated to the trading of ETF products and boasts over 8,000 listings.
