Bootstrap XS Column Wrapping Woes
Encountering unexpected column behavior when the screen width shrinks down to ultra-small sizes? If so, you're not alone. This issue arises with Bootstrap's XS column classes (now col-x in Bootstrap 4).
Cause:
The issue stems from the fact that while XS columns have a set width, they also have padding on both sides. This padding can cause the column to exceed its intended width, leading to unexpected wrapping behavior when the screen gets too narrow.
Solution:
Bootstrap doesn't currently have a built-in way to resolve this issue, but a common solution is to avoid using col-XS-1 (or col-1 in Bootstrap 4) when the screen width is less than 360px.
Alternatively, you can consider using CSS to set a minimum width for the container, ensuring that the columns have enough space to render properly even on very small screens.
Additional Note:
In Bootstrap 4, the col-XS-1 class has been renamed to col-1. However, the issue persists for this class as well.
