When you first get started in Mirthwood, you will have measly leggings and a top coat with nay a penny to your name. As you cultivate your life, it will probably be better to find free loot rather than spend hundreds on some armor in the early game.
3:26The Beekeeper Hat and Cote are unique clothing items that add an overall score of five Defense for the player. At the start of the game, it will be worth wearing this over your regular Pilgrim clothes. It doesn't cost you anything either.
The Beekeeper's hat and top, combined with good leggings, will give you plenty of defense in the early stages. In total, the outfit gives you an additional five defense.
Players can usually find unique clothing items around the world, some have buffs, and others are more cosmetic-based.
The Beekeeper outfit has uncommon rarity, meaning you won't be able to sell it for as much as you would a rare item. Luckily, there are two pieces, and selling both would equal the price of selling one rare clothing item.

This clothing item relates to a side quest. The Fall of Medville Meadery is a mission you can get by checking the town board in Brightoak.
It is not necessary to have the quest active in order to investigate the meadery.
The Medville Meadery location is in the Blue Meadows, northeast of your farm. You will need to enter the manor to not only complete this quest but to get the Beekeeper outfit.
Be warned, there are bandits outside of the Medville manor. Make sure you are equipped with healing potions and a weapon.
The Beekeeper's Hat is in a chest within a shed to the left of the Medville manor. There is a bandit in front of the shed that must be defeated first.
Make sure to grab the Rusty Iron Sword at the Brightoak training grounds to replace your starter weapon.
The Beekeeper's Cote is inside the manor. The key to the Medville manor is on a stone table in front of the manor. Again, a bandit is waiting by the entrance.
Inside the manor, you will only be able to enter the basement, the second floor, and a small bedroom. On the second floor, you will find the Beekeeper's Cote in a chest near the stairs. When you enter the manor, use the stairs in the upper-right-hand corner to reach the second level.
The chest also contains one Iron Bar and 19 Gold.
