Death is a regular occurrence in video games, and with Dragon Age: The Veilguard giving you boss battles you may be way underlevelled for semi-regularly, it is no exception. And when you die, you may have noticed that as well as loading your last save, you'll have an option to revive. Or, more accurately, you won't.
Your revives will be empty at the start of the game, and these aren't disposable items you find lying around like Potions, nor are they linked to the difficulty level. Instead, there are specific items in the game you can find that will give you revive charges for when you're just one hit away from victory.
Reading the description of the different gear you can find in Dragon Age: The Veilguard will let you know which items let you revive. In the stats, they will say ' 1 Revival Charges', and that means if equipped on your companions, you will then get the option to revive in battle.
It's important to note that this is not automatic, so you won't end up wasting it after getting crowded out by some Ghouls when you were on low health. Just like choosing whether to load from the save or quit the game, you can choose whether or not to revive - we suggest saving it for tough bosses that are almost vanquished.
There are a few items we've found that give Revival Charges. There is the Calibration Crystal for Bellara at the Arlathan Forest merchant, which costs 220 gold and requires the shop be at level three. There's also the Creator's Chisel for Davrin at the Hossberg Wetlands merchant, which costs 350 gold and needs a level three shop. And finally, give Lucanis a Simple Oil And Stone from the Treviso merchant for 240 gold once the shop is at level three.
While items appear to be semi-random, we found Bellara's Calibration Crystal at the very north of the second level of the map in Arlathan Forest, as pictured above.
Since these are quite limited, it might be that a safer strategy is in simply not dying at all. Who would have thought? Check out how to raise your health here.
