Life Is Strange: Double Exposure - How To Help Vinh Find His Package

During Chapter 1 of Life Is Strange: Double Exposure, Safi's mother, Yasmin, asks to speak with you at her office. When you get there, her assistant, Vinh Lang, says she's busy right now. He mentions that he's waiting for a package and suggests that you retrieve it for him while you wait.

How To Find Vinh's Package

Vinh's package is very easy to find and takes very little time. Simply go to the mail room down the hall from Yasmin's lobby in Admin and search one of the mail bins.

Max will say something about this being the package Vinh wants. You'll then get the option to pick it up and add it to your inventory.

You'll have two chances to give Vinh his package: before helping Gwen in the library, and after talking to Yasmin. Once you leave the Admin building, you'll lose your chance.

Should You Give Vinh His Package Or Not?

But the biggest question still remains: should you help Vinh or not?

Give Vinh His Package

If you decide to help Vinh and bring him his package, he will ask you what you want in exchange. Max will simply tell him that he owes her a favor later.

There are two times when you can call in your favor with Vinh. The first is in Chapter 2 - Scene 2, when you're trying to get access to Vinh's phone. You can call in your favor, to which he'll oblige and give you the passcode. Otherwise, you'll have to go searching for the answer.

The second opportunity is in Chapter 3 - Scene 3, while you're trying to find information about Maya Okada. One of the people you'll talk to is Vinh. Towards the end of the conversation, he says that he's done giving away free secrets. The game prompts you to give him one of three other secrets in exchange.

If you didn't call in your favor before, you have the option to bring it up here. However, it won't work because the favor was for Dead World Vinh, not Living World Vinh. After an awkward moment where Vinh is very confused, you still have to trade a secret for a secret.

Don't Give Vinh His Package

If you decide that Vinh can get his package himself, nothing happens. He simply won't owe you a favor, and this decision doesn't affect your relationship with Vinh at all.
