Tip(s)

Get My Bearings Complete the prologue. Finish all of Toshichi's quests, visit "Onibaba" (Lady Nijo) on the Central Plains, then climb the Plains Watchtower.
Foothold Situation Liberate any region other than Sosogi. Most regions require a combination of building Special Projects and defeating enemies. The northern regions are easier.
I Believed I Could Fly Die from falling damage. Jump from a watchtower or mountaintop. Do so with as little money as possible to minimize the penalty, since you lose ten percent of your coins when you die.
Hot Springs And Chill Bathe in the Onsen. The Onsen is located in the southern part of the Mountain Region. All you have to do is step into the water of the hot spring there.
Timberrrr! Cut down a full-size tree. Fully-grown trees have noticeably thicker trunks and yield one extra log.
Questing: Not Just For Heroes Complete the side quests in Iwasaki, Aratani, and Segi. Iwasaki will take the longest, as you need to be able to produce Steel.
The Honorable Restoration Complete every Special Project This will take several in-game years, even once you find all the construction sites.
The Great Unifier Liberate Every Region. The Temple Region and Coastal Swamps will be the most challenging, as they have well-equipped Samurai and Ronin enemies to defeat. Be sure that you can produce top-tier weapons and armor before attacking their bases.

Tip(s)

What's Up, Doc? Kill a hare. Hares are small and fast, but a single arrow is all it takes to kill one.
What Does The Fox Say? Kill a fox. Foxes are easier to spot than hares, but might take two shots if you're only using basic bows and simple arrows.
Stop Oinking! Kill a boar. Boars are aggressive and will attack if you shoot them or get too close. Use a yari and dodge frequently once they're in melee range.
There's Nowhere To Run! Kill a deer. Unless you get a headshot, deer usually take two arrows to bring down. Be prepared to give chase, as they will flee after the first hit.
Bearly Survived. Kill a bear. Bears are some of the most dangerous enemies in the game. Avoid fighting them in melee, as their claws can remove half your health in one swipe. Try kiting them with bow attacks, or killing a caged bear in a bandit camp.
Hands Off My Gold! Kill a human enemy. Any human foe will do, from looters to samurai. Use parries and counterattacks to reduce their Poise until they are off-balance; once they trip, you can usually finish them with a quick combo.
Gotta Slay 'Em All Unlock all the other combat Achievements / Trophies. The bear will likely be the most challenging.

Crafting Achievements / Trophies

Tip(s)

No More Couch Surfing! Build a house. Houses are found in the Buildings Menu when you have a Hammer equipped. One of the first tasks you're given by Toshichi is to build a house.
Sticks And Stones May Break My Bones But Copper Will Pierce Hearts Make a Copper weapon or tool. Copper is plentiful in Sosogi, and you can make most Copper goods in a Workshop.
Bronze Age Make a Bronze weapon or tool. You can use a Smelter to combine copper and tin to make bronze. Bronze goods can be made in a Workshop or Smithy.
Finally, The Proper Toys Make an Iron weapon or tool. Iron requires a Bronze Pickax or better to mine, and is most plentiful in Iwasaki.
Unleashing The Power Of Steel! Make a Steel weapon or tool. You need to liberate the Eastern Swamps to be able to build a Tatara Furnace and make steel.
Look At This Gem! Make a Masterwork weapon or tool. The Longbow is considered Masterwork, and you can craft it at a Hunter's Hut once you have access to Leather. This means you can usually get a Masterwork weapon before a Steel one.
It Ain't Much But It's Honest Work Personally harvest crops from a field. Farming yourself instead of having villagers do it takes a lot more time, but produces higher yields and requires fewer resources.
From Drab To Fab Build a Decoration This award specifically refers to indoor decorations like wall banners, as opposed to outdoor benches and torches.
Gourmet Eat any Excellent Meal. You can craft the meal at a Tavern once you have a Cooking Pot, or just buy one from a merchant. You can also occasionally loot Excellent Meals from enemies.
For The Sake Of Sake Drink Sake. You can craft Sake in a Brewery, buy it from merchants, or loot it from enemies.
Don't You Dare Chop It! Plant a tree and let it grow to full size. Trees that you plant have a leaf icon next to them when highlighted, making them easy to identify. Planting a Sakura Tree makes this award easier, since you can't accidentally chop it down without a Steel Axe.

2 Is A Company, 3 Is A Crowd Have 3 villagers (besides yourself and other human players in co-op). Refugees will join your Dynasty as long as you have an available bed.
One Less Mouth To Feed! Have a villager leave your Dynasty. Accept a refugee, then don't assign them to a home.
Breaking The Mold Establish a village in a region other than Sosogi. This can be your starting village or a later one once you get more bells from Abbot Joen.
Guardian Of Needs Have positive production for Food, Heating, Beverages, Maintenance, Health, Security, Spirituality, and Luxury all at once. Assign villagers to jobs that produce these needs. This is easiest when you aren't working on a Special Project. Needs are unlocked as your population grows.
Daimyo Reach maximum Dynasty Level. Gain Dynasty XP by completing quests, increasing your population, liberating regions, and crafting new items or buildings.
