Once you've built a huge park in Planet Coaster 2, seeing every guest enter through the same park entrance the park started with is going to be very inefficient. You'll likely have rides at the far end of your park that aren't as popular as they should be because guests have to walk so far to get to them.
To spread out the demand and get more people to other sections of your park, you'll need to build a new park entrance. There are a few steps you'll need to follow to get one built, whether it be custom or not, and you'll need to remember some elements to ensure guests use it over the main entrance.
While you can build your own park entrance using the custom tools, placing individual wooden panels and branding to truly make it your own, you can also place Planet Coaster-themed entrances using the Blueprints.
To do that, head to the Facilities tab and select the icon of three small people. The Park Entrance Blueprints will be there. Place one of those where you want it if they look how you want them to.
Try to place Park Entrances as close to the edge of your park as possible so that you can maximise space for rides.
Once you've used the Park Entrance blueprint, you need to ensure guests can actually pay to enter your park. When placing the blueprint, you'll see two black pads with the Planet Coaster symbol on them. That's where guests will spawn.
You can also place the Planet Coaster 2 entrance pads manually if you want to play around with where guests spawn.
You also need to place entrance gates manually, so that you can charge for Entry and get guests into the nearby section of the park. Head into the Custom Creator section for facilities and look in the three people icon section for the Park Entrance Gate. Then, place them where you want them.
You need to ensure that the entrance gates are connected on both sides so that guests can enter and leave. You'll also be able to set entrance prices from there.
If you can, connect a path from one entrance to another, so guests can more freely between them.
You'll notice that guests won't enter from the new entrance if there's not much to see or do in the section of the park near the new entrance. You should build out your park before adding additional entrances because guests will default to the main entrance otherwise.
