Shrike is a beginner-friendly Hunter in Supervive, and she's great to practise your aim while dealing massive damage. Her long-range makes her a poke nightmare in team fights, and she's particularly strong in the early game where those hits hit extra hard. Compared to other Hunters in the game, Shrike has quite low mobility, which means you can struggle if an enemy team decides to dive on you.

Shrike Build Basics

Here's a quick look at the basics for Shrike.<script> googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('adsninja-ad-unit-1707942439796-6115d5692e6734'); }); </script>

Which Weapons To Take

  • Vampiric Blade into Overheated Drive.
    • Omnivamp on Shrike is fantastic as her sniper shots deal so much damage. Hit your targets and you can replenish health quickly. The Overheated Drive provides an extra 3% Omnivamp, but if you're at full health already, you'll get an extra shield. Because Shrike can find it difficult to survive in certain situations - she's got low mobility - the extra health, healing, and shield are all useful.
  • Quickblade into Grace Blade or Big Game Hunter.
    • You want to pick up Quickblade because of the extra movement speed - getting in and out of range with Shrike is important, as is dodging enemy abilities. For upgrades, you can choose either the Grace Blade for extra movement speed, or, if your team has killed major bosses, the Big Game Hunter for even more movement speed.

Skill Overview
  • Passive - Raptor's Mark - Shrike's passive marks enemies. Hit any enemy twice, once to mark them, and then a follow-up shot, and you'll do massive bonus damage. This is very powerful in the early game. You can also activate the mark using Shrike's Ultimate, Full Bore.
  • Dive Bomb (LMB) - Shrike's LMB attack creates a small AoE area that deals damage and stuns enemies. Did you know that can also drop the Dive Bomb on downed enemy players (wisps) to slowly kill them? This is great for preventing enemy teams from reviving their allies.
  • Disengage (SHIFT Dash) - Shrike's dash pushes you backward from the direction you are facing. The main aim of this dash is to get away from players, but in the right situation, you can use it to close the space between you and an enemy, or find a better angle. The cooldown of this ability resets if you knock a player. Disengage will also slow and ground
  • an enemy if you hit them.
  • Scout Hawk (Q) - Shrike's Q ability provides long-range vision, but applies Anti-Heal
  • to the enemy. Anti-Heal is very important in Supervive: it prevents healers from doing their jobs. Tap the ability again and the hawk will circle the area, increasing the vision range.
  • Full Bore (R Ultimate) - Shrike's Full Bore pierces terrain and
  • armor, which makes it excellent at starting a fight or following up to delete fleeing players.

    Skill Priority
  • Disengage
  • Dive Bomb

There are actually two main options when it comes to skill priority for Shrike: you either max your Disengage for maximum cooldown or you

max your RMB, Dive Bomb,

to deal more damage and reduce its cooldown. We like to opt for the Disengage max as Shrike already has poor mobility - if we can improve it with upgrades, it seems worth doing. Level 3 of

Disengage <script> googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('adsninja-ad-unit-1707942439796-6115d5692e6734'); }); </script>will reset the ability if you hit an enemy player, which is great for getting away or just making some clutch plays in fights.<script> googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('CCR-REPEAT2'); }); </script>

Shrike Playstyle Tips

Supervive: Shrike Build Guide

Shrike is a very powerful Hunter in Supervive, but she is considered to drop off a little bit as you climb the ranks. This is mostly because good players will know how to dodge her shots and understand that Shrike is pretty useless if you just dive on her.

That being said, for beginner players and for pure damage output

, Shrike is one of the best Hunters in the game.

Your aim is to hang back and hit as many shots as you can. It's a pretty simple playstyle, which is why it lends itself to new players.

Especially during the early game, the damage Shrike can land on enemy teams can set your allies up for a much more favorable engagement.

Shrike also has great zoning potential in the late game with her Dive Bomb and can provide vision in difficult situations with her Q. Shrike is also one of the best at spiking

(killing enemies over the Abyss) in the game, because her range is long compared to other characters.

Best Shrike Team Compositions

Shrike performs well in many team compositions because her damage relies almost solely on just hitting her shots. A well-played Shrike will fit with any Hunters.

In terms of the game's meta, Shrike performs well with poke teams. Those are the ones that include Hunters like Myth and Hudson. Myth to continuously poke and Hudson to prevent people from jumping on you. An ideal team set-up might look like Myth, Hudson, Oath, and Shrike.
