Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island - Hephaestus Friendship Guide

In Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island, your goal is to help the islanders remember their previous lives as Greek gods. The mysteries shrouding the island keep them from their powers, and only you can connect all the gods back together. Not all of them will be easy to befriend, but with a bit of help, you're sure to get along just fine.

Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island - Hephaestus Friendship Guide

Hephaestus is a prickly god, but he has a good heart. Content to stay in his workshop, you'll have to help him perform repairs around the island and find the mementos from his past. Here's everything you need to know to befriend Hephaestus on Ambrosia Island!

How To Unlock Hephaestus

Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island - Hephaestus Friendship Guide

To unlock Hephaestus, you'll need to get two seals: one from Hermes and one from Zeus and Hera. With these seals, you can open the door to Hephaestus' workshop. You can find it to the west of Ares' orchard, north of the water wheels.

Inside, you'll find Hephaestus in his wheelchair, happily working away on his latest project. If you don't see him, try coming back later.

Hephaestus will be in his workshop from 6AM to 12AM.

Hephaestus Friendship Level One

To reach level one friendship with Hephaestus, you'll need to take the Un-hammer from him and repair the broken down wind turbines around the island. You won't be able to reach all of them for now, so fixing five will do

The wind turbines are marked on your map with a windmill icon in the regions you've unlocked.

Check along the beaches and shorelines for accessible turbines. You'll also find one in the atrium, along the eastern wall. When you find them, give the turbines a tap with the Un-hammer

to instantly repair them.

After you've found all five, head back to the God of Invention. He'll ask you to recover some of his prized mementos

to restore his lost memories.

You'll need to find the following mementos:

Memento Name	Location
Harpy Automaton	Take the ramp in the atrium down to the east, just past the sentries.
Winding Handle	Inside Hermes' seaplane, all the way in the back beneath a hidden wall panel.

Bring everything to Hephaestus to earn his trust and reach friendship level one! He'll also upgrade your Ambrosidex radar to find buried mementos.

You can now enter Hephaestus' room and visit him whenever you'd like.

Hephaestus Friendship Level Two

After you reach rank one, the Un-hammer is recharged, and you're tasked with seeking out more broken turbines. However, you won't be able to reach all of them, so you may have to wait a while.

Some turbines are blocked by water, but helping Poseidon, the God of the Sea, may open new pathways for you.

Check along the northern shores for more turbines and repair them with the Un-hammer. This time, you only need to find and fix Hourglassof them.

Once you've done that, it's time to find the right mementos for Hephaestus. Below are all the ones you need to find and where to get them:

Bring everything to Hephaestus to help him remember more of his past and reach friendship level two!

Hephaestus Friendship Level Three

To max out your friendship with Hephaestus, you'll have to take the recharged Un-hammer to repair the last turbines on the island. You can check which ones still need to be worked on by opening your map and searching for the blue wind turbine icons

You can filter the icons to make it easier to see!

After you've repaired the last of the wind turbines, you'll need the following mementos to fully restore Hephaestus' memory

and get the island functioning smoothly again:

After you've given all the remaining mementos to Hephaestsus and repaired the wind turbines, you'll reach level three and max out your relationship! You'll be rewarded with Hephaestus' soulstone, which can be placed in the Gaia cavern.

Upon reaching friendship level one with Hephaestus, you can swap ambrosia fruit with him. In exchange, he'll give you furniture for your lighthouse.
