Attack on Titan Revolution is a game on Roblox that is inspired by the famous anime and manga, Attack on Titan. In this game, the main goal is to kill titans using ODM gear. However, the game itself doesn't give guidance on what ODM gear is or how to use it.

The game also doesn't tell players that they can upgrade many components of their ODM gear, leading some to get frustrated with the weakness of the base gear. There are Eight different things that can be upgraded on your gear and 15 levels to each.

What Is ODM Gear?

ODM gear is a set of gas tanks and swords that allows the player to launch themselves around the map to efficiently dispose of titans. Using ODM gear can be used for traveling purposes as well as attack purposes.

Wherever your player aims, the small white reticle on your screen is where you will travel to. To shoot your ODM gear on PC, aim where you want to go and shoot using the Q or E keys. On Xbox and PlayStation, the controls to shoot your ODM gear are LT or L2.

Using a shift-lock on PC is one of the ways to maneuver your ODM gear easily. In this game, pressing shift will activate the sprint action. So, in order to use the shift-lock, press the CTRL key. After enabling this, your ODM gear will shoot in whichever direction your player is facing. To disable the shift-lock, press the CTRL key one more time.

Your ODM gear will run out of uses, so each player will need to reload their gear at refill stations during missions. The short blue bar at the bottom left of your screen indicates how much gas is left in your tanks. The short red bar at the bottom right of your screen indicates how many more slices your swords have left and how many reloads you have.

To refill your gas and your sword reloads, you will need to travel to a refill station. These stations will appear on every map as you travel around it and will be marked by a black and gold emblem.

If you don't see an emblem for a reload station, keep traveling around the map! Sometimes, the stations will show in different areas around the map only when you are close enough to them.

What Can Be Upgraded On ODM Gear

Your ODM gear has eight different components that can be upgraded that range in price. These prices start at 500 gold and will reach a maximum upgrade of almost 170,000 gold. Each component can be upgraded a maximum of fifteen times.

The eight components that can be upgraded are regular damage, durability, range, gas, speed, control, crit chance and crit damage.

Damage	Allows gear to deal more general damage to titans.
Durability	Damages the blades less, calling for fewer blade reloads and refills.
Range	Allows players to shoot their gear from further away.
Gas	Gives the gas more time between refills.
Speed	Allows the player to move faster.
Control	The ODM gear will function more fluently and appear much smoother.
Crit Chance	Gives players a higher chance of dealing a huge amount of damage.
Crit Damage	Increases damage dealt by harder hits on weakpoints like arms, eyes, and legs.

Each player can only reload up to ten times during a mission, so be cautious as to how you use your gas and swords!

Where To Upgrade Your ODM Gear

After pressing play and loading into the starting lobby, there will be other areas with labels surrounding the middle section. Depending on where the player spawns in, there will be a large sign with the yellow word "Equipment". Once the player travels to this area, they will see a revolving, glowing orange circle.

Upon entering this orange circle, they will see an NPC hammering away at a sword on an anvil. This NPC is named EVO Yeager.

Interact with EVO, then select the Upgrade option that will pop up on the right side of your screen. After clicking the upgrade button, you will see your ODM gear floating in front of you.

In the bottom left corner of your screen will be a list of each upgrade that you can do to your gear. On the top right of your screen, you will see how much gold you have as well as crystals, spins and sometimes event tokens. Directly underneath that, the upgrade will be shown to the player, indicating how much better your gear will be and how much it will cost you.

Do as many missions as possible before going to upgrade your gear! This way, you will have lots of gold to spare and can even upgrade your skills to make your character stronger instead of just your gear.
