Frontend DEV Challenge - December Edition, Glam Up My Markup: Winter Solstice
This is a submission for Frontend Challenge - December Edition, Glam Up My Markup: Winter Solstice
What I Built
I created a visually appealing and responsive landing page for the "Winter Solstice Celebrations" that covers various aspects of the event. The page includes sections such as an introduction, the science behind the solstice, hemispherical differences, global celebrations, solstice traditions, and a conclusion. I aimed to present this content in an engaging way, incorporating smooth scrolling, snowflake animations, and a mobile-friendly navigation menu.

Journey
I learned a lot while building this page, especially how to combine CSS for visual effects and JavaScript for interactive elements like smooth scrolling and snow animations. I also had fun implementing the hamburger menu for better mobile experience. I am particularly proud of how the snowflakes animate across the screen, which adds a magical touch to the winter theme.
