Love and Deepspace's storyline centers around finding, playing, and making memories with each of the romance companions. Unlocking five-star Kindled memories is easily one of the most satisfying experiences in the game. But it wouldn't be so special if it wasn't difficult to accomplish.
Deepspace Wishes function similarly to Empyrean Wishes but are only used in Event Pools. You can earn Deepspace Wishes in many of the same ways as Empyrean Wishes. However, you will earn the most Deepspace Wishes by participating in Events.
You can purchase Deepspace Wishes at any time using Diamonds in the shop, but you can only cash them in during an active event. Deepspace Wishes can be saved for events many weeks in advance. Deepspace Wishes never expire.
Deepspace Wishes also function as replacement wishes for Deepspace Wish: Limited.
Deepspace Wish: Limited is a temporary kind of Deepspace Wish that can only be used during the event period in which the wish was earned or bought. The wish will expire with the event.
During most limited Wish Pool events, you can spend real money to purchase Deepspace Wish: Limited in the shop.
When the event ends, the Deepspace Wish: Limited will turn into a regular Empyrean Wish. This means that even though the wish was meant for the event window, you don't have to use it if you don't want to.
Since pools can be expensive, you may not want to spend your resources on the events. In that case, it's a good idea to bank your Deepspace Wish: Limited so that you can amass Empyrean Wishes.
On the flip side, if you don't need Empyrean Wishes and would rather only use your wishes in event pools, aim to spend all of your Deepspace Wish: Limited during the event window.
You don't need to spend your regular Deepspace Wishes; you can save them for other pools.
At the beginning of the game, there are dozens of Empyrean Wishes to earn.
Pre-registration benefits, completing Hunter Development milestones, pulling your first 600 Memories, and logging into special newcomer events will give new players a plethora of Empyrean Wishes to use during the early game.
However, Empyrean Wishes become a lot harder to come by as you progress into the late stages of the game.
Here are a few ways you can earn Empyrean Wishes:
If you're looking for the best passive way to farm Empyrean Wishes, you can wait for your Deepspace Wish: Limited to expire at the end of an event.
You'll get hundreds of Deepspace Wish: Limited over just a few event periods, so if you don't like an event pool or just don't feel like spending the resources making pulls, you can wait for your Deepspace Wish: Limited to expire and become Empyrean Wishes.
The shop is separated into several sub-shops, each with its own unique currency type. Some shops only offer one type of item and some currencies are only used for specific things.
For example, Crystals are used to buy Outfits, but Chocolates can be used to buy several different kinds of items.
If you're willing to spend your resources (both in-game and real money), then the shop is the most reliable way to amass Empyrean Wishes.
You can buy about one Empyrean Wish per eligible shop type a week. The shop's inventory will reset at the end of the week, and you will be able to purchase another Empyrean Wish at that point.
For example, you can use Chocolates to purchase one Empyrean Wish a week. In the Heartsand Shop, however, you can use SR or SSR Heartsand to purchase 15 Empyrean Wishes a week.
If you're willing to invest real money into the game, the best investment you can make is to buy the Aurum Pass. While the Aurum Pass does not give you Empyrean Wishes, it does give you 3,000 Diamonds a month, which can be exchanged for either wish type.
One Empyrean Wish costs 150 Diamonds in the Items Shop, and the Items Shop does not have a weekly limit set on how many Empyrean Wishes you can buy unless you are purchasing Deepspace Wish: Limited from an event shop.
If you log in every day with the Aurum Pass, you can buy 20 Empyrean Wishes a month and thus pull 20 Memories from the Xspace Echo Wish Pool or Event Pools.
You can also buy Empyrean Wishes through Weekly Packs, Meeting Packs, Association Specials, and the Daily Pack from the Pack shop. This can get costly, though, and Packs also have weekly or monthly limits associated with them.
You can claim the Daily Free Pack every day, but there is no guarantee that you will pull an Empyrean Wish when you open it, as the rewards are randomized from a pool of potential resource drops.
Every week you can complete tasks to earn Weekly Task Points. If you amass 100 Weekly Task Points by the end of the week, you will earn a single Empyrean Wish.
Earning the Weekly reward is time-consuming, but it is a guaranteed way to earn at least one Empyrean Wish every week, so it's worth putting in the effort.
Similarly, you can participate in the Seasonal Promise Events to earn points and redeem them for milestone rewards. Most of the time, the milestone rewards include both Empyrean Wishes and Deepspace Wishes.
Finally, if you check in for 25 days out of the month, you will earn a single Empyrean Wish as a check-in reward on the Check-in screen.
Events are a great way to earn Empyrean Wishes and Deepspace Wishes. While Events only roll through every once in a while, they consistently offer chances to earn Emyprean and Deepspace Wishes.
Some Events only require you to log into the game once a day to reap the rewards, while others require task completion or for you to complete special storyline missions and minigames.
For more information on specific Events, check out our article, All Event Types And How To Complete Them.
Four-character Event pools or pools with more than one featured memory (like Sylus's myth pool) usually come with bonus Deepspace Wishes. The devs like to send 20 free Deepspace Wish: Limited during these Events.
Active Events, like Mountain Journey and Meow's Time, also have Event Shops where you can buy 10 Deepsapce Wish: Limited and, rarely, regular Empyrean Wishes.
Passive log-in Events like Ten Days With You, are the best Event types for earning both Deepspace Wishes and Empyrean Wishes. You can get anywhere from two to twelve wishes of either type from these events, so they're worth investing time in.
Remember that you can let your Deepsapce Wish: Limited expire after an Event to get Empyrean Wishes.
Another reliable source of Empyrean Wishes comes from using Empyrean Wishes to pull Memories. Every Memory has three rank levels. Pulling a duplicate of a Memory lets you rank that memory up by one level, up to a final cap of three ranks.
After you have fully ranked up a Memory, any more of that memory that you pull from the Wish Pool will be converted into Heartsand, and every Memory you pull awards you with one Stardust.
You can use Stardust in the Wishing Well Shop to buy memories or Empyrean Wishes. There is no limit to how many Empyrean Wishes you can buy in this way. One Empyrean Wish costs 12 Stardust.
Each month, you'll be able to buy ten Empyrean Wishes for nine Stardust instead of 12.
If you have drawn enough of a five-star memory to fully rank it, any subsequent copies of that memory that you pull will be converted into SSR Heartsand. One Empyrean Wish costs six SSR Heartsand. However, you can only buy ten Empyrean Wishes using Heartsand per week.
You can earn Empyrean Wishes by leveling up or ranking up all Memories. Three-star Memories will offer you the least Empyrean Wishes as Growth Rewards, while five-star Memories will offer you the most.
Save up Bottles of Wishes to spend on leveling up your Memories. Prioritize higher-star Memories to get the most Empyrean Wishes as Growth Rewards. Higher-star Memories are also the most powerful in battle, so leveling them up is a good idea all around.
Every day you can enter and complete Open Orbit levels in the Battles Tab of Deepspace Café. Not every Orbit stage offers Empyrean Wishes as a reward, but you'll get them frequently enough that completing Open Orbit Levels is worth it.
Boss stages (the red, unstable planets) will give you one Empyrean Wish upon successfully clearing the stage for the first time.
You will also earn several Diamonds as first-clear and perfection rewards for completing Orbit Stages.
Open Orbit also does not require keys for entry. Therefore, you can complete as many Open Orbit stages as your combat team allows. As long as you can win a match, you can continue in Open Orbit.
Another great way to earn Empyrean Wishes is to complete Hunter Contests each Hunter Contest season. Hunter Contests are multi-level battle contests that challenge your team-building and combat skills.
Each season you can work your way up the ranks of the Hunter Contest to earn Empyrean Wishes and Diamond rewards. The Primary, Junior, and Senior difficulty levels of the Hunter Contest that you clear offer two Empyrean Wishes.
To get these Empyrean Wishes, you must earn 36 completion stars at that difficulty level.
Hunter Contests and their rewards reset every so often as a new season rolls out, so you will be able to collect more rewards once the season turns over.
You will earn more Diamonds than Empyrean Wishes in the Hunter Contest, but remember, you can spend 150 Diamonds to receive one Empyrean Wish or 1,500 Diamonds to complete a full ten-memory pull in the Wish Pools.
Another battle type that offers both Empyrean and Deepspace Wishes, is Abyssal Chaos. In Abyssal Chaos, you can complete Deductions in Find Tobias to earn rewards.
However, once you reach reward level 120, you cannot earn any more rewards from Abyssal Chaos.
For an in-depth walkthrough of how to complete Abyssal Chaos Deductions, see Abyssal Chaos, Explained.
Finally, you can earn Empyrean Wishes by completing Achievements. You can check what rewards are offered in the Achievements tab of your player profile (the ribbon icon at the bottom of the screen).
Some Achievements will update you on your Progress, but other Achievements are hidden and can only be revealed by completing the Achievement naturally.
Check your Achievements tab frequently to keep on track as you try to earn Wishes and other rewards.
