According to the studio, and the sequel's director, the script for the follow-up is 2.2 million words long. To put that into perspective, Baldur's Gate 3, which people continue to spend hundreds of hours in 18 months after its release, has two million words and currently holds the world record for the longest video game script ever.
If the 2.2 million word claim is accurate, then Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will take that record. Hear as many of those words as you can starting from February 4, 2025, when Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 launches on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
No specific release time for the sequel has been revealed. It will likely unlock at midnight local time on February 4, 2025, if you have pre-ordered a digital copy.
