Discover a Lost Atlas during your aerial explorations and immediately gain a strategic advantage. Using it on your home island's table map instantly reveals the location of a significant island, regardless of whether you've uncovered that sector yet.

Lost Atlases: Unlocking Important Island Locations

Aloft's hundreds of sky islands hold countless recipes, knowledge stones, lost anchors (unlocking sailing skills), and sketchbook entries. To efficiently locate crucial areas, utilize a Lost Atlas.

These distinctive gray stones, adorned with a circular blue swirl, are hidden within large, circular gray rocks scattered across various islands. While sometimes located near white stone gates, they're not always easily spotted, so keep a sharp eye out during your explorations.

Once you've acquired a Lost Atlas, return to your home island and interact with your table map. In the bottom right corner, you'll find the option to use the Atlas. Confirming this action places a Lost Atlas symbol on your map.

This is beneficial even for already-visited sectors. Lost Atlases mark locations, even in unexplored sectors. The symbol will appear on your table map, even if the sector remains hidden behind a wooden panel. Upon your first visit to that sector, the marked island will be visible within its archipelago.
