Regularly Check Your Map Table While Flying

Early in Aloft's Forgotten Legacy quest, you'll obtain a crucial tool: the map table. Place this large circular map on your home island's bridge to track islands across the game world. Groups of islands form archipelagos, and collections of archipelagos constitute sectors.

The map table displays all visited archipelagos within a sector. Your ship is represented by a circled island with a small point indicating your helm's direction. Entering an uncharted sector reveals its entirety.

While hand-crafted, island placement is randomized. Everyone explores the same hundreds of islands, but their arrangement varies across player worlds.

The map uses color-coding and symbols to convey information. Island health (healthy, unhealthy, corrupted) is shown by color, and symbols mark islands with frescoes, knowledge stones, or those found via lost atlases. Some previously healthy islands may temporarily revert to unhealthy until revisited.
