Acquiring Exotic Ciphers

Three primary sources provide Exotic Ciphers:

1. The Season Pass.
2. Xur's Xenology Quest.
3. Specific DLC Packs.

The Season Pass is the most reliable source, offering three Ciphers upon completion (two from the paid track, one from the free track). Afterward, Xur's weekly Xenology quest provides one Cipher per week. While some seasonal events and quests may offer them, these are not guaranteed.

Certain older DLC packs, such as Forsaken, provide unique Ciphers (e.g., Forsaken Ciphers) redeemable only for Exotics from that specific DLC.
