You can also use these resources to upgrade weapons and amps you find in the Overgrowth.

Phantom Fragments are the memories of the Crowns, or the Overgrowth’s bosses.

Trade these in to Pherus Bit at the Cursed Outpost to unlock narrative artwork that fills in details about the world of the Overgrowth.

What Resources Are Most Important?

Hyper Light Breaker: All Resources, Explained

Now that you have a basic understanding of these resources, you might be wondering, which ones are actually important?

While there’s no one-size-fits-all answer to that question, it is important to prioritize permanent upgrades in Hyper Light Breaker over temporary ones. This is because most of your resources carry over between cycles.

Brightblood, Materials, and Cores carry over, and are converted into Golden Rations, and can be used for permanent upgrades.

Maximizing resources like Golden Rations, and others that help permanently upgrade your build are ultimately more important.

Spend your Brightblood and Materials to get the weapons you need to earn these upgrades – it’ll be worth it in the end.

Remember, some resources go away in between cycles, these include Medigems, Keys, and Prisms.
