Initiating "Scorch the Outskirts"

Completing "The Fellowship of the Wing" unlocks the "Scorch the Outskirts" Beast Hunt. Speak to the Elder at Mossbug Farm in The Outskirts; he'll point you towards a Sky Scorcher's lair. Fast travel to Highland View for quicker access and resupply if needed.

Defeating the Sky Scorcher: A Three-Phase Battle

The Sky Scorcher fight unfolds in three phases. In the first phase, prioritize ranged attacks while avoiding its icy tail swipe. When it lands, exploit its weaknesses with electric and poison attacks. At approximately 33% health, it will flee.

Phase Two: Ruins of Long Fang Castle

The Sky Scorcher's next location is the Ruins of Long Fang Castle. Continue to dodge its fire breath and icy tail attacks, using melee when safe. If it's hovering, use Electric Elementa to stun and ground it. At roughly 66% health, it flees again.

Phase Three: An Unexpected Encounter

Fast travel to the ruins. You'll encounter a Bird Beast – this is part of the challenge! Quickly defeat it using ice and electric attacks, saving your Electric and Poison Elementa for the final Sky Scorcher encounter.
