In Synduality: Echo of Ada, after completing the initial CIC missions, you'll access the Amasia Outer Rim, a new series of investigations. These missions feature more Enders and a fresh environment.

Finding the Five Surveillance Logs

The five logs are conveniently located in a relatively linear sequence:

Surveillance Log #1

After your initial Giant Gazer encounter, proceed to the bridge's south end and descend a level. Eliminate the crawlers guarding the container holding the log.

Surveillance Log #2

Following the brief Giant Gazer battle near the containers, cross the bridge and descend. Breach the wall ahead to find the log inside a container.

Surveillance Log #3

Further along, before crossing to the right, explore the smaller area with multiple containers to the left. The log is in the container nearest the edge. Be prepared for another Giant Gazer attack. A grenade launcher is also located in a container nearby – grab it!

Surveillance Log #4

After defeating the Giant Gazer, the bridge connects, revealing left and right paths. Take the left path to find this log.

Surveillance Log #5

After collecting log #4, return to the boss arena and take the right path. This is the final, mandatory log, containing a lost Magus.

Mission Progression

The Old Amasia Grand Bridge mission is linear, populated primarily by Enders. You'll encounter multiple Giant Gazers throughout; focus fire on their eyes for maximum damage. The constant traversal between bridge sections increases the risk of fatal falls, so be cautious. Collect powerful ranged weapons, especially the grenade launcher, for the final boss fight.

After defeating the final Giant Gazer, the bridge connects, allowing you to collect the final log and Magus to complete the mission.

Giant Gazer Boss Battle

The final Giant Gazer encounter features similar attacks:

• Rapid Fire Orbs: Dash away to evade.
• Homing Orbs: Destroy with a single shot.
• Laser Beam: Jump over it.

Use the containers for cover; they provide ammo and repair kits when destroyed. After defeating the Giant Gazer, proceed to complete the mission.
