Pokemon TCG Pocket's February 2025 Solo Battle Event: Secure Your Cresselia ex!
A new Solo Battle event arrives in Pokemon TCG Pocket, bringing exciting challenges and the chance to obtain exclusive cards. This month's event, the Cresselia ex Drop Event, offers a powerful new Cresselia ex card, alongside four other promo cards, all obtainable by completing solo battles. Prepare your best Darkness-type deck and aim for victory!
What's the Cresselia ex Drop Event?
The Cresselia ex Drop Event is February 2025's monthly Solo Battle event, running from February 3rd to February 17th, 2025. With Event Stamina replenishing every 12 hours, you'll have ample opportunities to complete approximately 32 battles. While this should suffice for acquiring a full set of each card, Event Hourglasses can provide extra attempts. Unlike Wonder Pick event currency, these Hourglasses persist, allowing you to save them for future events.
This event introduces five new cards: two unique cards and three reprints with fresh artwork.
New Cards in the Cresselia ex Drop Event
The event features five new cards and previews of upcoming accessories. The star attraction is the exclusive Cresselia ex, boasting the Psychic Flash attack (80 damage, 3 Energy) and the Lunar Plumage ability (heals 20 HP per Psychic Energy attachment).
Another unique card is Misdreavus, featuring the Confuse Ray attack (Confuses opponent's Active Pokémon, 1 Psychic Energy). This is a valuable addition to Mismagius ex decks.
The Electivire reprint showcases art by Sumiyoshi Kizuki, previously unavailable outside a Japan-exclusive set. While not game-changing, it's a solid upgrade for Lt. Surge decks.
Finally, Turtwig and Skarmory are reprints with exclusive artwork from the 2009 Supreme Victors and 2016 Sun & Moon expansions, respectively. The event also hints at upcoming Cynthia-themed accessories.
