Conquer the challenging Sky Scorcher hunts in Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter! This guide details how to tackle the "Scorch the Rift" Beast Hunt, the final challenge available from Short Tongue.

After completing "The Fellowship of the Wing," these hunts unlock. You'll track down the formidable Sky Scorchers, powerful airborne enemies. Prepare with strong electric ranged weapons and ample ammo.

Initiating "Scorch the Rift":

Speak to Short Tongue in The Rift. He'll mark a location on your map – the Whale Boneyard, situated between Bogmire Forge and the Ruins of Claggy Rock Castle. Head east to reach it quickly.

Defeating the Rift Sky Scorcher (Phase 1):

The Sky Scorcher awaits near the Toadcor's remains. Equip electric and poison weapons. Attack aggressively as it readies itself. Evade its icy tail swipe and heal if hit. Watch for the red ground glow, signaling its swoop attack. When it lands, use Poison Elementa. Use Electric Elementa to stun it for attack openings. After dealing 33% damage, it retreats.

Phase Two:

Restock at the merchant. The Sky Scorcher will reappear. Unleash ranged attacks immediately. Dodge tail attacks and continue ranged assaults to inflict another third of its HP, triggering another retreat. Proceed to the Temple Toadspire Ruins. Sharpen your weapons with the Whetstone.

Switch back to poison/electric weapons. The Sky Scorcher returns; use ranged attacks to finish it. If out of ammo, attack its lowered tail.
