How to Earn Perks

Perk progress is earned through active participation: dealing damage, securing eliminations, and supporting allies all contribute to unlocking upgrades. The Perk acquisition rate increases as the match progresses. Eliminating higher-level Perk opponents yields bonus progress, incentivizing engagement with well-equipped enemies.

Perks are hero-specific; switching heroes resets your Perk progress for the new character. However, progress is saved for any hero you've played in that match. For example, if you reach level three with Roadhog and switch to another hero, then back to Roadhog, your Perks will be retained.

Your Perk progress is displayed in the bottom-left corner of your screen as a filling blue bar. An orange pop-up appears when you're ready to equip a Perk.
